Our delivery set-up and collection service means that you no longer have to drive for miles to a retailer to collect and return equipment, we remove the hassle and are always happy to provide advice before you hire from us.
Looking for a Pro active PA system with subs and tops that will blow you away? We stock a good range of LD speakers and radio microphone systems, most of which are on display in or Cambridge sales and hire showroom.
Many of our competitors rent out floor standing lightboxes with coloured light bulbs (these retail for around £40) or very cheap LED effects that simply flash, these are okay for small house parties but not suitable for special events and look pretty basic. We have a selection on display so that you can decide which ones are best foryour event.
Ipod based systems allow you to make the most of your own music library whilst proving you with an easy way to play exactly what you want to hear.

Venue licensing and what to check before booking a disco for your event!
Your venue should have a license that allows "public performance" on their premises. A Produb license allows a DJ to copy music from CDs etc. and convert them into a different format!
Many DJs, and some venues, now use MP3, WAV, AAC or WMA files as a convenient way of storing their music library on either a PC, memory stick, Ipod, CD or hard drive connected to a media player.
Quite a few DJs simply turn up with a laptop these days and use this to play music (although the audio quality is often not that good as most laptops aren't designed for this purpose). Unless THEY hold a ProDub license, issued by PPL & MCPS, it is illegal and the venue may be compromising their own license by allowing them to perform!
Public liability and PAT certification
You are strongly advised to ensure that any DJ you secure the services of is insured (we carry £5m of cover).
Our equipment is independently inspected and PAT certified on a regular basis.
If you are a business it is your responsibility to ensure that your employees are protected and that you have assessed any risks that may be present. In short, check first before booking your entertainment and don't take unnecessary risks.
