If you're planning an event, or are regularly doing so and need advice on controlling volume levels (SPL) get in touch as soon as possible.
There are strict rules in place to protect staff and to reduce the likely nuisance that can be caused as a result of poor sound containment, noisy performers or loud sound systems. Your local environmental health officer is responsible for enforcement of the rules and unacceptable volume levels could result in loss of licence.
We can provide advice and guidance, hand held monitoring equipment (these allow you to measure precisely the volume at any given time) noise limiters and PA systems specifically designed to minimise problems. We also provide an event monitoring service, taking regular SPL readings during your event.
